that's the worry, he has been a west coast guy for quite a long time. USC would be the obvious choice if Helton weren't on the hottest of hot seats again. Washington State needs to hire someone else as DC quickly, that would help

yes they are close, and there has been no reported interviews with anyone but Syracuse, but always possible that since Rocky and Leach are close, they have talked about it.
