It means that they are a good shooting team that had a bad tournament from outside - but won anyway. If Mitchell is good in the high post and they've got two really good jump shooters, that's trouble. Also, Joe vs. a 5-8 guy isn't to our advantage if the the 5-8 guy is really quick.

But Joe should be able to get his shot off withou much bother

San Diego State plays 9 guys more than 10 minutes a game.

They have 4 seniors who start. This is a veteran team. Three starters average more than 35% from the 3 point circle. Mitchell looks well suited to carve up the zone from the high post.

They have 2 6’9 230 pound guys who play center. Both are really foul prone. We need to attack them and get them in trouble with fouls early.

This is not going to be an easy win.

This team is really experienced and should know what they are doing. That said, they have never seen the Syracuse zone, and it will be a tough thing for them to deal with. Assuming we play it as actively as we have in recent games.

Here’s the thing: We HAVE to make our shots!
