Sell Out Saturday night

Slightly OT.
Crappy streams? I can watch any CFB game in the country. I get 60 channels with an antenna. That's the only way to get true HD. Cable is compressed into 3Mb, and image quality is less. The majority of my television is streamed at 4K/ultra HD...4 times the resolution of the antenna -and 5 times the image quality of cable.

Cable is the crappy one...;-) Scientifically speaking, anyway. They'd have to pay me hundreds a month to go back to inferior quality, programming, and commercials. It still wouldn't be worth it. $$ had nothing to do with it. No one ever turned on the cable, because it sucked in comparison, so I stopped paying for something we never used.
great first what are you watching in 4k or ultra hd? some services are broadcasting small bits in it but the content itself is not 4k or ultra hd. 2nd you have to have paid up to have that tv to use the stream. 3rd when you are watching your stream do you never change channels to watch other things. i know a lot of people have played the game and dumped cable to find some it is better, but much of it is not. ISPs are gonna get back the money someplace so the big savings will be gone soon and you still have to hope capacity keeps up which most cable ISPs cant unless they really beef up the fiber to the house and thats a huge cost.

unless directv doubles its price it will be a long time until streaming comes close to what they give me.

Good news is there are only about 150 tickets available on the 100 level.
The Faith promo has blocked some in the end zone...the rest are the students. At kickoff on Saturday there were maybe 100 students in the stands...probably grew to 600-800. Lame.

There had to be more than that. The student sections on the sidelines plus in the end zone and upper corner are for 2500-3000. Eventually much of the downstairs was full at least for a half. Some sat in the end zone section next to the band (not a lot) and some day upstairs to my left (again not a lot).

The sideline section was not full...of course there could be more. The students seem to love to hang out in the concourse. I really think in a Dome renovation they might think about a party deck for the students in the second phase.

I think the marketing department should hit up Buffalo.

Are you interested in some competitive football? Hop on the thruway and head to the carrier dome to watch the Orange take on the wolfpack!

I'd love to see more folks from Buffalo heading down the Thruway for cuse games, especially since plenty of folks from Syracuse make the trek to Orchard Park to watch that dreadful product. This probably isn't the year for that, however, with UB having a pretty solid year.

Bulls make the most of WGRZ coverage

No bulls game Saturday they play on Tuesday night next week. Maybe we get a lil bigger buffalo crowd Saturday?

Keep saying it but they’ve made the decision to not sell tickets in the donation required sections at tix price only. They pro rate the donation on a per game basis.
Seems to be the only fair thing for people who buy priority seats.
I would suggest a promo where you but two tix at the face price and you can get two child tix at 10 each. Families are really kept away by the everyone needs a ticket policy when you have kids it can get way too costly at full price. It I believe would build attendance and seed the future.

I didn’t say it was full. I was just saying how much all the student seating holds.

What's even weaker is that I have another wedding next Saturday and won't be able to attend the NCST game at all. I did give my tix to my brother-in-law and his buddy though, so at least my seats will be filled.

Some newlyweds just dont get it. Wedding bans: memorial, labor day weekends, 4th of July and labor day through thanksgiving;):)

I’d love to see more fans from Rochester make the hour and a half drive or even less if you live on the east side. There’s just no buzz and an afterthought to most people. It boggles my mind.

Yeah Rochester is the real head-scratcher to me. Huge basketball following there but they appear to be basketball only fans.

I'd like this 1,000 times if I could.

Just do what my wife and I did: schedule it for the bye week.

Just saw on NBC that a major rain storm coming up the coast is expected to arrive on Saturday. That should cut down on apple picking and leaf raking.

So maybe they should reevaluate that structure for next season... I'm talking about the remaining 2 home games left on our schedule. It's clear that those seats were empty for the other 4 home games this year, and that doesn't look like it will change for these remaining 2. If they want to drum up fan support and really pack the Dome for NC St and Louisville, why not drop those prices in order to do so? Are season ticket holders in that section really going to be that turned off by it for 2 games? Maybe it leads to additional ticket sales for 2019 with a revised pricing structure? It's clear that the current price point isn't working, and they have an opportunity to really reel people in for these next 2 games. Seems to me like a no-brainer.

Easy fix: Deduct the amount each season ticket holder “loses” by discounting the preferred seating ticket price and apply the difference towards next year’s season ticket purchases. Rinse, wash, repeat...

4 of the 6 (see my previous post. i am bringing 5 people who havent been to a game in years) of us are coming from the east side of rochester :)

Bills fans

yeah my next door neighbor has season tix bills and season tix cuse bball.

hard to justify going to bills and cuse games on a consistent basis unless you bottomless wallet and no kids.

Good thing there isn't a Buffalo Braves team anymore. Curious on how that hurt SU basketball sales back in the day.

That's tough to do when the wedding is scheduled 14 months in advance.

Oh, ours was too. It’s just the football gods smiled upon me and showered me with his blessings.

Would greatly cut down on walk up crowd.
