If we had Rutgers sway or clout with the rating services we'd be in the high 30's as a class. Unbelievably we're last in the ACC. 14th. 2.67 avg. I just checked and Rivals has 7 of our 18 2021 recruits as 2-stars. Seven. Bewildering. We're not that bad. I think it's more a case of being perceived to be bad in recruiting. The anti-bandwagon thing.
Just commenting. Not looking to start anything. Just a bit nonplussed when I'd greatly prefer to be plussed. Which I presume is the opposite of nonplussed. I guess.

Post twisters -- unreal. Our lowest rated recruit, Hough, has about 25 p5 offers. Let that sink in.

We all realize like we took some commitments from players without great offers. We also know the reason why some of them didn’t get more p5 offers. The point I was making it that our bottom 3 commits are underrated. Based on film and offers. Do you not agree? If not explain what you like or dislike about their skill set?

Yup the ratings are influenced by the amount of subscribers. Rivals is a SU grave yard. No love for SU commits

Why would our bottom 3 be the ones that have other P5 offers. Wouldn't it be the players without any P5 offers at the bottom of our recruiting class making the post comparison of 7 vs 5 more accurate rather than implying we don't have any recruits without other P5 offers this coming year.

I didn’t imply anything. I mentioned how our bottom 7 from last year had no P5 offers and this years bottom 3 actually has some of the best offers of all our commits. Those are facts, not opinions. What’s hard to understand? You think I’m making this up? lol

Btw our class is not where we want it to be but its deceivingly good and has more depth than we think. Our 3 lowest rated commits have 3 or more P5 offers ( Hough Fuentes Mags) in last years class our bottom 7 commits had no other P5 offers.

If Hough is one of our 3 lowest rated players, then sign me up for this class. That kid is a tank.

Just because a kid doesn’t have another P5 offer doesn’t make them our lowest rated recruit. Example is Cantin-Arku in the 2019 class was rated as one of our highest recruits in the class despite us being his only offer whatsoever.

That only reflects your subjective opinion, which doesn't align with the ratings provided by the 2-4--7 recruiting service.

It operates under the illusion that we are aware of all the offers made to these guys. Mr. Hough is going to blow our minds with the offers that aren’t made public after these young men commit.

It really isn't that hard, here are the rules in the football recruiting forum.

Don't look at ratings because they are created by shills. Don't look at offers because they're many circumstances we are unaware of. You can use ratings and offers when it helps the team look good.

Ok, so on your own you decided that you want to determine rankings based on P5 offers? While everyone else ranks players based on live evals, camp performances, film etc..
