Interesting. Where did you hear that they are projecting him as a MIKE? Definitively seems smart and could likely lead the defense but of the three signed LB's I assumed he would be the least likely to play MLB. Ruff is huge and Walton is large. I question if those guys have enough speed to play in space on the outside. Not saying they can't play out there but I am not so sure. I love getting bigger LB's but speed is pretty darn important on the outside.

He talked about it in TWC Signing Show. It wasn't something he hymed and hawed about with having to wait and see. It was fairly specific.

maybe he's building depth. we're loaded at the outside and we have 1 MIKE - Zaire.

Well looks like the DE class was even more important than we first thought. These 3 are all going to be seeing action early IMO.
