Today we are all Bearcat fans

My wife is a Bama grad and my father-in-law is a huge Bama fan. That said, I can't stand them - go Bearcats!
Being a GA native now for over 25 years, gotta pull for the Dawgs.
I understand your father in law, but you can’t stand your wife?

Harsh

Even though I’ve been watching football non-stop for 30 years I don’t think I fully understand what constitutes an illegal shift and what doesn’t.

Anderson would likely be in consideration for first pick overall in this year’s draft.
He and the Bama DL are just dominating the Cincy OL.
Cincy D deserves a lot of credit. They are just going man to man on the outside and just shutting down the Bama offense.

In this case Cincinnati had two players in motion at the same time - a no no.

Dude just pulled a Judon (post-punch punch, not trip), and got called.

Sad!!! Its because I was rooting for them

Never stood a chance. They just couldnt take away the deep ball and stop the run. If Bama just handed it off they would have run for 300 yards

SEC benefits so much from how good Bama is. They get so much trickle down benefit bc Bama is just a machine.

Also, this, for anyone thinking this is a G5 thing:

It didn’t make any sense at all that Anderson wasn’t a Heisman finalist. He had more sacks, tackles and TFL’s than Hutchinson.

Bama being down both starting corners, Metchie and then losing a starting IOL early gave Cinncinati as good a chance as you could ask. Felt like Bama just wanted to play it safe get the W and move on without losing anyone else.

Did anyone expect otherwise. Cincinnati is basically just Notre Dame in different colors. A team that everyone knows doesn’t belong, but earned the chance regardless.

Yep, for a sport that has historically had little parity this is the least amount of parity I've ever seen in it. Cincy winning prolly would've been a bigger upset than the US beating the Soviets in the Miracle On Ice.

Cincy would beat Georgia imo

College Football has an issue, and I don’t know when it comes to roost given the popularity, but when only 4 teams make the Playoff, and typically, at least one of those teams is a pretender, it doesn’t bode well for the long term viability of a sport.

In two days we’ve watched a high profile bowl game where the star QB for one team and star RB for the other opted out, to be followed by CFP Game 1… the annual blowout in a semi-final game.

Fun.

Alabama isn’t a great running team and Robinson stacked up over 200. Georgia run game would abuse them.

On the other side Cinn offense doesn’t have the passing game to do what Bama did.

It's going to continue as long as Saban is there. They are a dynasty. The 90s Yankees on steroids.
