Lydon will be a second unit guy and has a great chance of sticking around a long time. People here focus on the negatives of his game far more than the positives, for some weird reason.
Over 40% from long range this year at his height is very impressive. Many of those are NBA range threes this year. He has also shown legit NBA post moves with patient footwork and soft touches inside off hooks, and has proven he can rebound and block shots inside against big teams. We aren't talking about a 6'10" stiff. I mean... I don't see at all what people are looking at when they say he won't or shouldn't be drafted in the first round. He can't dribble too well? Great, won't need to. If he could dribble well he would be a top pick. That won't get better staying in college vs going to the league early. He isn't nearly as raw as many kids are when they get drafted.
