VaTech Gametime: Noon on The CW

You’re always welcome at Fine Mess

Come hang out!
I have gone to few. Just if I go to the game with others that have no interest in walking down there and getting to the game 2-3 hrs early anymore. if I can get my wife to a game she wants to eat out and not waste a whole day. Have done the quad thing a few times as well but they changed up the food options to mostly the trucks which is harder to eat standing up with so few tables.

So if its an early game its get there just before the game and eat after or buy something on the way home. if its a mid game its go and come home and if its a late game its usually go myself or sometimes my kid comes across from Roch.

But always a Dome dog.

Too bad our concessions are absolutely horrible at the current moment

I get that, but how many people are doing pre-game stuff? How many go eat before a 330 game around town? I have eaten after games but never before a game. maybe those around the game area are,

You guys eat on game day? My tailgate diet usually consists of 7 to 8 Blue Lights and then I drunkenly inhale some Dome nachos during a TV timeout in the second half.

You get the same dome dog with extra and unlimited with beer for the same price as buying one I of each in the dome…. Probably better dogs as I think the dome are skinless… just come to the Syracruz mess :)

I use to be a blue light person when I was 20…. I grew up outwards with craft…… and I don’t mean saracr****p. I miss world of beer.

It’s not going to happen for football season, or maybe even this basketball season, but I’ve heard the school is working on a plan to remedy that with some more local options within the dome. Still in early stages, but they’re trying.

They are mostly a tailgate beer for me. I made the mistake before of drinking Souther Tier 3X IPAs for an entire tailgate. Postgame was something else.

Adks, Lake Placid. Route 3 is a long ass haul!

Dame that's a haul. Great drive in the fall, late spring and summer but I don't even wanna think about that drive after a brutal loss.

Oh it's the absolute worst after a loss. My kids take losses as bad as I do so it's a 4 hour complaint fest while driving as fast as possible. 81 is worse than route 3 in winter coming for hoops games when it snows when you hit tug hill snow belt

Whoa easy there Rambo... ;)

Man, theads like this help me appreciate my luck. My 16 year old twin boys literally spring out of bed at 5 am for noon games and we are tailgaiting by 7. At the latest. And thats after travelling the night before a game as we live 4 hours away. For 8 pm kickoffs, theyre also up early so we can drive down day of game and tailgate by noon or 1. I guess I taught them something right.
Great post. You raised 'em right, Pat.

Coming up w a bud for this one. We are planning a night in Armory (Pastas, Hops Spot, Awful Als,) but will move it based on game time. Nooner means Saturday night. Anything else probably means Friday night.

Looking like 330 or night on ACC

Is this based on something you are hearing, or just a guess based on the slots available/games we're up against.
