Coyle for sure wanted a clean slate. No Shafer, no Shafer "loyalists", nada. Time to move on kids, Daoust and Acosta are not coming back. I like this hire, and we shall see how it plays out.

I'm not sure that it is all about Shafer but rather wanting a clean slate because this housekeeping extends way beyond the coaching staff. It goes all the way through FB support staff in the SUAD...including secretaries.
