At least we get to rest now. If we were playing it would be crazy then it would be more tracing. We get to rest till our first game of the big tourney.

So with the "Reserve" teams, the NCAA will insist on having games instead of byes, the following scenario seems likely to happen at least once:

Reserve Team - Utah St.

And say Team X plays Team Y in round one, and Team X wins... but Team X or Y gets a positive test the next day, so both X and Y are eliminated.

Utah St comes in as a reserve and plays its first game in the round of 32.

They aren’t adding new teams once the games begin.

Have there been proven cases where players from one team picked up covid as a result of a game being played against opponent(s) who had covid?
I would bet no. Go to a gym, yes. Go to a place to eat, yes. Go to a bar, yes? Play against someone in a sport? I haven't seen that yet.
