Spending some quality time in the Kadary! thread. This sucks. But it was inevitable. Where is CuseRunner?

And if we were alone in this predicament, your argument would be betterYou think having to bring in an almost entirely new roster next year is no big deal? You think losing upwards of 8 guys with experience in your system is easy to replace with 8 guys with no experience in your system is no biggie? This program would be way better off with Kadary, Woody, AG, Frank etc all with a year under their belt. If you want to tell me Cuse is replacing them all with 5 star, high impact players that's a different story. But that isn't happening.
The bigger picture is that stuff matters to players because it matters to their future. It also matters as part of ego and pride. And if that were the case, why is it important to keep starting Joe? Should be no big deal to sit Joe down and tell him Kadary is better. When Joe was recovering from COVID, Cuse fell behind almost every single game and he was a huge reason why (not blaming him but he clearly wasn't playing well), yet Jim never even considered starting Kadary. That tells you all you need to know.Because who starts the game is about as meaningful as a fart in the wind.
That is, of course, if one has the ability to see the bigger picture.
Point is, you don't have to be in that predicament. Woody and Kadary don't have to be going elsewhere. Just because other teams face turnover, doesn't mean you don't try to retain your best players. Kadary Richmond was the most talented player on the roster. End of story. Woody Newton clearly should have been playing a bigger role. Tell me right now we are better without those guys. And if we were alone in this predicament, your argument would be better
That was the perfect time to make the switch IMO. It would’ve given Joe an “out” to soften the blow if needed, as he had been sick. The bigger picture is that stuff matters to players because it matters to their future. It also matters as part of ego and pride. And if that were the case, why is it important to keep starting Joe? Should be no big deal to sit Joe down and tell him Kadary is better. The same is true for Gonzaga. We might as well be playing a different sport than Baylor and have zero chance to win a championship.
BAYLOR!!
Glad you’re ok with it.
Spending some quality time in the Kadary! and Yankees! thread.

Really? Your posting style implies playpen.I actually have a whole house. It’s got walls and a yard and everything. Thanks for checking!
Happening all over, and the guy some here have inflated into an AA didn’t want to play in the system anyway. You think having to bring in an almost entirely new roster next year is no big deal? Playpen? Is that the dirty kid from Peanuts?Really? Your posting style implies playpen.

Kadary Richmond in the transfer portal
Yep. That’s why there was whole halves where one of the two would be sitting. Except he never came out a lot of times. Towards the end of the season he did moresyracusefan.com
and, like I said, Kadary did not want to play in the system.
Probably another guy who won’t make the conference all rookie team.Right, it is happening all over
So who will we be bringing in to replace Kadary?
so is that a yes or no...that we will actually be bringing someone to replace Kadary?Probably another guy who won’t make the conference all rookie team.
Yep, the days of “program guys” appear to be over.Problem is that those players you listed waited their turns. They played sparingly (to various degrees) in their early years, growing into full time starters and key cogs on some great teams. It appears that career track is no longer going to be normal in college basketball. Doesn't matter who the coach is, if a kid doesn't start and/or play big minutes right away, they will transfer. At least it appears that way.
CJ Fair played less minutes per game and started fewer games as a freshman than Kadary did, for example.
I'm not sure how a coaching staff is supposed to deal with this new environment, but it will not be easy. We will live to see the CJ Fairs of the world learn a little bit with us and then blossom into stars for other teams. By the same token, their CJ Fairs will blossom on our roster instead of where they started, I suppose.
Wildhack definitely had a problem with it.It's not difficult to grasp. It's stupid. Foolish. Whatever you want to call it. If it was sooooooo egregious and as bad as you state it is (which it is stupid), why didn't your hero kick them out of the program?
Uh, so why bring him in? Were these conversations not had during the recruiting process? If it's a surprise as to what type of offense/defense a program runs, that's an issue in your recruiting process.Happening all over, and the guy some here have inflated into an AA didn’t want to play in the system anyway.
Again, why wasn't a punishment levied? You don't see the issues here??Wildhack definitely had a problem with it.
I hope we bring in another guard in addition to the one who already committed. If your point is that Kadary is irreplaceable I obviously don’t agree.so is that a yes or no...that we will actually be bringing someone to replace Kadary?
