Alabama lost by 21 to a crap Oklahoma and dropped, what, 6 spots? SMU loses a conference title game at the final gun to a top 20 blue blood and drops 4 spots? Sure, that’s fair

Teams rising and falling when not playing. Why ever make Alabama ever play a game. I believe they are using that 3-loss Bama was 3-1 against ranked teams. Did 3-loss SU go 3-0 against ranked teams?

Miami dropped from #6 to #15 in AP and #16 in coaches for losing by four to us on road

Iowa State got murdered and dropped 2 spots

UNLV lost by 14 points and dropped 5 spots

Penn State lost in a game they were never in and dropped 2 spots

SMU lost on a last second 56 yard FG and dropped 4 spots

These things don’t make sense.

I know Iowa State and UNLV are irrelevant to the convo but the whole thing is whacked.

*get rid of preseason rankings
*amend a rule that you can’t be penalized for championship games
*expand the playoff to 24 teams (all the rule changes to improve parity and the portal have worked so include more teams)
*if you want to have an exclusive party that’s rigged then I like the idea of having an NIT playoff. Bye bye bowl games.
