Schiano is probably still begging for an interview. He offers that the ESB was lit up in red and he can get lit in orange if UT ever plays there, so he has that going for him.I am sure Shady does but who wants him?
Strong could probably write his own check!
I bet it does!!! He's such a UT tool .What really grinds Chip's gears is TAMU is now the most popular team in Texas.
Briles told UT "NO" yesterday and re-affirmed his commitment to Baylor today. How do you like that bees?

That's surprising to me but he obviously sees more upside and an easier road at Baylor. It's the law of diminished expectations. If he goes to UT and loses 2 games a year they get the pitchforks out. If he stays at Baylor and continues to play the spoiler and/or has a bad year and loses 4-5 games he is still walking on water.
You know you like it.I don't know, am I suppose to like it?
Not when you believe that you're the best possible destination.Wouldn't you think UT had to have a clear successor target in mind BEFORE pushing Brown out?

See, there goes another one!I am officially removing my name from consideration for the job at Texas.
He signed an extension earlier, prior to Mack Brown's dismissal or resignation.I was waiting for the news of Briles' new contract after he took himself out of the UT running.
They did have a coach in waiting but he went to Florida. I doubt they want him back. Now they find themselves in a bit of a mess. It will be hard to satisfy the Texas faithful with anybody that has less than stellar head coaching record.Wouldn't you think UT had to have a clear successor target in mind BEFORE pushing Brown out?
