I'm happy for his success- but nothing you've described required a college campus to accomplish or explains how an esports team benefits the university in anyway.I have to laugh at this entire thread. E-sports has been around for many years. SU is way behind the 8 ball on this. My son has been in the video game business for years. I watched e-sports tournaments with him at least 15 years ago. His company at one point made most of the esports games. During COVID he did a lot of work to make the esports games remote.
