Head of NCAA officials John Adams

Four guys with 4 fouls with 12 minutes to play, Kyle.

tOSU was on the receiving end of some horrific calls too, no doubt. But SU was affected much more deeply given the volume and timing of ours.

But credit to tOSU, they hit their FTs and gutted out a win.

Ohio State was called for literally two fouls where there was absolutely no contact with the offensive player. One of them caused Ohio State's best player to sit for 13 minutes in the first half. Ohio State had all sorts of touch fouls called on them in the second half just as Syracuse did.

Again, was it absolutely awful officiating? Yes. However... Ohio State had its fair share of screwy calls against them too. If you don't believe me, check out any neutral message board and see how fans thought, at certain points in the game, Ohio State was getting screwed too. The officiating was an equal opportunity hater.
So they called one questionable call on your best player that caused him to sit most of the first half well ummmm they called two phantom fouls on our best player that caused him to miss most of the second half. Cool story bro. For 30 minutes of the game we got raped. Last 10 minutes it evened out a bit after oh, you know, 30 minutes had been played and our entire team was about to foul out.

Bingo.

Being +17 from the line begs to differ

Again, the fouls were 22-20 with one minute to go. Ohio State only had five more free throw attempts at that point. Six fouls and 12 free throw attempts were intentional when Syracuse was trying to get back in the game. It was poorly, but evenly officiated for the first 39 minutes.

Good grief, do you want a Kleenex? Just suck it up already. Both teams had to deal with those refs.

Even. Ha.

Go celebrate on an tOSU board dude, this place ain't buying what you're selling.

OSU was called for 5 fouls in a 3 minute stretch from the 8 minute mark to the 5 minute mark ... they are make up calls

Syracuse was hit hard early and often in key situations ... you dont have 4 players with 4 fouls with 12 + minutes left in while OSU has one guy with 3 in a fairly called game

Lol no, no it was not. Just because they called a touch foul on your marshmallow man doesnt mean you can come here and tell me the officiating was even.

I don't have the stats off hand, but how many players ALL year do you think have had 4 fouls in game that weren't Melo/Keita/Xmas? That number is DEFINITELY less than 3. That number was equaled tonight.

Can you point to a single call in the game that absolutely cost OSU 4 points? Because the missed block on the Triche and-1 cost the Orange 4.

kyle you are a good poster as a non su visitor but .. not all touch fouls are created equal.. su lost points on those calls .. sullinger was able to create space using his elbows and arms the whole 2nd half.. those that werent called in a game where su had 4 players with 4 fouls is huge.. if thomas, sullinger, craft and buford had 4 each at the twelve minute mark where would your thoughts be? that all calls were balanced out? your team won.. so you have an element of care not in your approach and understandably so.. pertaining to su.. the media torched any chance there is a neutral message board out there.. lets be real

Again, you obviously aren't getting this.

22-20

Two fouls difference lopsided to you eh? OK then.

Whatever, you're not going to convince most of us that it was evenly called. And if the shoe were on the other foot, I'm pretty sure none of us would be able to do the same on your board. But really, as I think about it, none of us would probably be there in the first place.

at one point it was 18 - 9 against Cuse ... OSU was hit with ticky tacky make up calls in non clutch situations where points could be rewarded

Wow, you're not getting this at all.

You're like the kid that argues his team almost won when they were down 20 points with 3 minutes to go and they leave their starters in against walk-ons and cut the lead to 7. We only lost by 7 - we almost had them!

They evened out the calls at the 8 minute mark - those calls were pretty bad too, but the damage was done, MORE than done in the first 32 minutes.

There were huge calls made against us. Pretty much all of Dion's fouls. Both charges with OSU players in the circle. Craft being allowed to hand check Scoop while he get touch fouls. KJo getting run over on a 3. Multiple drives where we got knocked down without a call. OSU did have some bad calls but when it is a doen bad calls for SU to every one for OSU it is criminal. And most of the calls came from Higgins. That T on JB was a joke.

+17 from the line tells the difference.

I think OSU took 4 or 6 shots from the line in the last minute; that still gives you +10 for the game.

With all due respect, I'm not the one blaming the officials for a team losing...

12. They took 12 free throws in the final minutes. I've already double-checked.

Trust me, I'm getting it loud and clear...

When other team's fans who HATE SU are saying we got screwed what do you say to that? When national media is making comments about the officiating on Twitter what do you say to that? When the best player on the floor can't stay on the court because of fouls? How does a G fing foul out in 20 mins of play? That isn't even Fing possible.

that is because your team bombed out early and your program is headed to the gutter
