You didn’t show any data. You’re just repeating your argument.
In the time you’ve spent attacking me personally, you could have found the evidence to support your argument. You want me to post a link showing the correlation between career success and draft position? I'll happily do so. But I couldn't imagine anyone with the most elementary understanding of the NBA needing such a link. I thought it would be insulting to post one. But if this is news to you, I'll help you out and post one.
Yeah, it indicates it’s not the easy decision we thought it would be after the combine. Probably waiting and hoping for a last minute development.Typically the longer this drags out it turns out to be bad new for Syracuse.
In some ways it might be better for Judah to move on. In a freeflowing offense, you don't really want a ball dominant guard. There are studies on these topics, some showing that higher draft picks get more minutes and preferential treatment. Also, there is statistical evidence of preferential draft status for kids in top college programs, and those who play well in the NCAA tournament, over kids from less prominent programs with comparable performance metrics. Here's an example:

It's really a personal decision. My opinion that being a late second rounder or a UDFA creates more risk than returning to college, isn't going to matter to Judah. What I will say, however, is that there is evidence (analysis of win shares and other advanced statistics) that playing for a top college team, especially one that has positive performance exposure in the NCAA tournament (which is likely if Judah rejoins SU with all the new players), can significantly improve a player's draft value. In some ways it might be better for Judah to move on. You want multiple players who are able to set up and make plays.
Judah might be better of in the G league to improve his skills for the NBA.
I don't know much, but if there's one thing I do know, it's that when Day2 posts something, he's serious...Are you serious?
So I tell you about two players. One was drafted at #55 in 2023.
The other was drafted at #18 in 2024.
Your theory is that—besides money—they have an equal shot at success in the NBA?
The data on career trajectory by draft pick is widely known (at least I thought it wsa). Clearly it makes a difference.
It's not just "delaying the inevitable." With more money invested in you, you are given more opportunities to prove yourself.
I hope that is true but I worry about what dad thinks. And I wonder how you would know that? This group has been very tight lipped about this. It’s 100% on Judah
You can waste your time with the insults as much as you want. I’m just pointing out that it is indeed a waste of time."attacking me personally."
You may be the most delicate person I've ever encountered if me not going along with you playing stupid is me "attacking" you. But okay. Here you go, ding-dong.

That would be good news, I’d imagineIt’s 100% on Judah
Of course. It’s silly to think that they don’t. To each other? I have no idea.
This is a post of the year candidate. Well done sir.Of course. It’s silly to think that they don’t. To each other? I have no idea.
It’s just that you said you were telling us about two players… and then you didn’t. And then you cited “data” that you didn’t actually cite. I guess we could just take your word for it.You want me to post a link showing the correlation between career success and draft position? I'll happily do so. I did in the next two sentences that immediately followed. The sentences that start with, "One," and then, "The other." Not sure how I could have made that clearer.
"And then you cited “data” that you didn’t actually cite."
I gave three links filled with data. But yes, I didn't originally cite the data that higher draft picks have greater success and more chances/opportunities in the NBA. I found it hard to believe anyone on a basketball message board would need that explained to them. I apologize for overestimating you.

Or you could read the links provided. Or just use your head.
I think the point was, what are the names of the players."It’s just that you said you were telling us about two players… and then you didn’t."

If it’s about money, isn’t it conceivable he could make more money via NIL in college vs grinding away in g league (at least in next year). If he hates college, then so be it. Many of us are looking at this though our personal lens Knowing what we know now. Would I love to extend college and delay working another year. Hell ya! Being king of campus and laying pipe like a steam fitter.…Sounds like heaven.
