Not that the NFL top 100 is that big of a deal but how is Zach Martin 55th? The guy is the best guard in football.

FWIW Brandon Brooks was the highest rated guard in the NFL last year by Pro Football Focus. He was ranked 98th in that poll. Those rankings are hot garbage anyway. Mahomes not #1 and Wentz not even in the top 100?

wentz...the guy whos replacement was just drafted in round 2???

just be thankful he played 16 games last year.

i tell ya, if there is a 'starting' QB who will opt out this year...my $$$ is on him.

Rosen doesnt count anymore, despite this boards love of him.

You'd toss Danny Fumbles aside in a nanosecond to acquire Wentz.

nope.

lets revisit in 3 years though.

will wentz even be an igg??

When is the opt out deadline? Today?
yep.

then you either have to catch it, have something that pops up that effects your immune system or have a family member with it.

There are 2560 NFL players on training camp rosters. 66 of them (2.5%) opted out of the season.

The teams at the bottom here better win this year as the salary cap is projected to go down to 175 million next year.

This year it’s 198 million.
Meaning teams at the bottom here are going to have to cut or restructure contracts.

If Dak has a good this year he will likely get to the open market.

Dallas has no cap space if they franchise him next year.

Dak and Deshaun Watson are going to get paid in a bad cap spot.

With no college football this fall.
The NFL should move all Thursday night games to Friday night give the teams an extra day to get healthier.

Move 2 games each week to 4:30 and 8 on Saturday.

So we get NFL games Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday night.

That's an excellent suggestion.

Problem is, covid is basically over.

People are going out on Friday nights again and HS football is still on.

if everything gets shutdown and we decide to destroy the mind of the youths, then ok.

I like the idea, but Saturday, Sunday & Monday will suffice.

2 games every Monday might be better.

6:35 & 9:10 would be fine.

8 games a week on your tv.

Dude Covid isn’t over.

The cases have trended up from June.
It’s not over.

Friday night football games on Fox will get ratings. People want to bet, play fantasy etc.

An extra day from Thursday to Friday makes the football product better as well.

Covid will be here for the rest of our lives.

the fear is over.

cigarettes and liquor will kill you too, and people voluntarily take them daily

call the NFL a protest, it’s all good.

college is screwed, the NFL should be fine.

HS can work too.

Two weeks ago it was 70K new covid cases a day in the US, now it's averaging 50K over the last several days. Florida's new cases have been cut in half over the last 2-3 weeks. Hospitalizations same deal in Fla, AZ and Texas.

If high schools are going to play the NFL can't play Friday but Saturday tripleheaders will be great.

you do realize that mr injury, whose replacement was just drafted...fumbled 14x as a rookie and 16!!!!

16x!!!!

in year 4.

that draft makes more sense by the day.

Daniel Jones...best QB in the NFC East.

NFL will play Saturday if there's no college football...

My money is on Deshaun Watson to the Patriots next year.

HS FB isn’t going to be played in most states this fall.
Most are shifting to the spring. My district in NC has paused all fall HS sports. They are going to likely shift FB to the spring.

The NFL should move Thursday night games to Friday or Saturday night.
Maybe add a couple of afternoon Saturday games.

That is what Patriots media thinks.
They think Belichick will trade 2 first round picks for Watson after this year unless they believe in Stidham.
Watson has all the leverage with the Texans because of the salary cap going down because of the pandemic and the Houston cap in 2021 a mess because of O’Brian.

If the salary cap is 175 million teams like the Saints/Chiefs/Bucs/Eagles are going to have cut a lot of players or restructure a lot of contracts.
The cap was supposed to be 208 million before the pandemic.

Patriots are taking their dead money hits this season. Will have 60 million in cap space with a 175 million cap.
