You might be right but i don’t know, I think we are a fine football team but they are just at a different level offensively. Their D is always the question, however. We are clearly better on that side. Let’s see what happens these next 3 games and then when we go down to Wake!

It shows that we actually gained respect for playing Clemson tough on the road. If we'd gone in there and gotten blown out, we would have dropped like a stone.

Dropping only two spots means that the voters were impressed with our performance, despite the outcome.

Yeah no one should have any issues with our slotting at 16 both as a weekly adjusted and more broadly considering how most thought we would be this season. If someone told the board midseason we would be ranked 16 with only 1 loss and a close one, we would all sign up for that. Proud of the team. Let's put together another win streak again!

Wake does have a nice offense, but their defense is generally bad. We have one of the best defenses in the country plus an offense that is good but inefficient. Total package we're a better team, but they're a little more consistent.

Wake does have a nice offense, but their defense is generally bad. We have one of the best defenses in the country plus an offense that is good but inefficient. Total package we're a better team, but they're a little more consistent.

If we can get 2 more dependable receivers in the next few weeks besides OG, and Tucker we would become a great offense.
As Dino says occasionally great isn' t where it's at. Looking at Mr Alford, and Cooper. They both need to become consistently good like OG.

We only have one game this week. ND has underperformed but is still a formidable opponent. Specifically, they have a quality offensive line and could very well attempt to power the ball down our throats like Clemson.
