Which leads us to our two eventual, inevitable-but-divergent, conclusions:
recruiting rankings are meaninglessWhich leads us to our two eventual, inevitable-but-divergent, conclusions:
• If he doesn't transform our program: 'our recruiting still sucks because we can't get top 20 kids'
• He gets drafted late in the first round after his second season, so: 'recruiting rankings are meaningless.'
Going to be really cool to watch Benny go up against the best of the best.
I hope he stinks. (For the record, I hope he does well but I don’t want a Darius Bazley situation. PTSD I guess.)

Javaris Crittenton wasn’t available. They sure went out of the way to pick the best role models possible as coaches.
Did they ask Gilbert Arenas?
12mpg here while Swider and Jimmy each get 34mpgSo what happens after Benny drops 30 with a bunch of poster dunks and wins MVP of this game??
Straight to G-League??? or?
That is certainly the history with top 30 forwards at SU. SMH12mpg here while Swider and Jimmy each get 34mpg
Tyler Roberson only got in 20 games and averaged 8mpg as a freshman. That is certainly the history with top 30 forwards at SU. SMH
Barring injuries, i anticipate Ben Williams playing closer to 28-30 minutes a game this season.Tyler Roberson only got in 20 games and averaged 8mpg as a freshman.
edit: even more depressing, we’ve only had two top 30 power forwards since Christmas signed with us, 10 years ago. Roberson and McCullough. And Roberson was 31st so can’t even technically include him.

Didn't he get a late start? Thought his freshman year started in January for some reason, my memory isn't what it used to be.Tyler Roberson only got in 20 games and averaged 8mpg as a freshman.
