I know a guy who's very tight with Jay Wright. I'm going to try to get some info this week. Of course, Jay Wright told my contact that he thought Lonnie Walker was going to Arizona. The guy does get the info directly from Jay. That shows you how fluid recruiting can be.

Nova source is a friend of a friend. I've known him for a long time but my good friend sees him more often. My friend just saw my Nova source and asked him about Swider on my behalf. My friend texted me, "(Villanova) is not confident about Swider." That's all I have; if I get anything else, I will post it obviously.

Has Wright had a forward like him before? He would probably have to tweak the system some and run stuff through him more instead of the heavy guards action. I don't know. Doesn't seem like a good fit for him there.

Shows how well built he is. Like others have mentioned he is more solid than Lydon.

He could play him like a guard on offense in that system but he'd end up guarding 4's on defense.

It was tough to tell because it was a pretty quick snap video on Moyers story but it looked like cole was out to dinner with a bunch of the players for brissetts bday tonight. Figured he'd already be heading home but maybe he was doing just that after dinner? I only mention this because it seems like he has had a long visit here that seems to be going real well and has gotten to spend some quality time with the players and staff. I feel like we are right in this for him and if what iommis source told him is true it feels like it's going to be another cuse/duke showdown. Gut feeling is we pull this one out and gmac finally gets the big win!

Swider seems pretty versatile. I think he'd be fine there but you make a good point. He's not the prototypical Nova player.

That was my feeling too..some of these kids visits are in and out pretty quick. I know he has his visits all planned out but I just have a feeling it's a good sign he is spending this much time here getting a feel for what it would be like to be part of the program. Really hoping for a win not to mention it would be nice to give one back to duke after they swooped in and took JT. They do it a second time that just plain sucks!

the fact that they are the one school of the four that doesn't already have a visit scheduled leads me to believe that they are in trouble on this one.

He really does. I'd argue significantly different mindset. However, "dream school" Duke has to be a big concern. If he buys what Duke says to him about his role, that could be a problem. He surely knows Duke has bigger fish to fry in this class.

I'm curious what we told him about all of our forwards and how he'd fit in. I'm sure he can see that we will need his shooting but we do have a ton of 3/4's.

Edit: have you guys listened to part 2 of Francis' podcast. He's not feeling too confident because of Duke's involvement. That doesn't make me feel great but I do think this recruit is very different from a JT, as dasher said.

Personally, I have a great feeling about this. He knows that SU can put him in the NBA. We have a lot of forwards, yes. Still, two years here and he is NBA bound.

Duke could park him on the bench. Marek may be a one and done, then what do you know? Swider has the 3 spot. The coaches know more about this, obviously, but I feel surprisingly well about Cole coming here.

He can wait after visits, and see Lydon go in the 1st round, then give a nice handshake to the Cuse. He is a priority. Duke may be a dream, but he is our dream.
