I remember reading early on that White is transferring to some degree because he wants to showcase his ability as a 3pt specialist, which is what he thinks his best chance for the NBA is. I don't expect that if he is on SU this season that he will be some kind of transcendent do-it-all 2 guard and that a D-Nich comparison is more apt. The SU offense would be a good fit for him to pair with a slashing 2G who can score at three levels (Hi, Tyus) and a drive/dish PG (Hello John and Frank). I'm not wedded to any particular starting lineup and there are 8 players who are going to get significant burn. How it shakes out will be the result of summer practice and the staff. But not for nothing, Louisville took on two graduate transfers last season and they both started. Not the same coach, team or situation, but just something to keep in mind.
