Taj gave the bird to the camera

It's like he searches out the camera to pose. Lol. My son used to do that when he was 4. Seriously in both videos eyes go right to the camera. Kinda bizarre behavior for a 20 year old.
I don’t mind that kinda thing if he delivers. Being goofy in a fanless dome is fine IF you are playing and focusing as well. So in this case yeah, no. Under different circumstances, chum it up.

Here is the shot from last week...not with his team in the huddle talking to coaches...just a weird, weird bird...

I noticed that before the game and thought to myself..."What is he doing and why is no one saying anything to him?" This kid love himself. I really don't care for all the antics.

It would be nice if he apologized to all the viewers and fans who saw it plain as day on their TV screens. Those poor people stayed around long enough to see the end of the worst loss in SYR history and then we get treated to that on top of it. He should make a public apology to all, not just the team.

Agree. I don't think a public apology is asking too much in this situation.

I agree something should happen to Taj, and have no quarrel with a 1-game suspension.
What i don’t want to see happen is that he somehow becomes the poster boy for this lost season, and the target of fan frustration & discontent.
Babers SHOULD do something, but let’s not target our wrath at Taj simply because he makes for an easy target.

Kid made a mistake. Hes also passionate. Its a fine line but i do like his fire just not how he sometimes expresses it.
Rather then punishing the team by suspending him for a game. Would rather see some community service.

That might be a tad harsh. Public apology and one game suspension would be enough.
Yeah I was just ranting, he’s worked hard to get here just don’t make this season any worse already Taj

Given that we are coming off the shellacking we took last weekend and about to have our house destroyed by Clemson, if there ever was the perfect time to suspend a guy for a game it’s right now. We don’t have a prayer of winning this game with or without him. Not as long as Etienne and Lawrence are playing for Clemson.

Taj is a walking big play for us and has been open for one bomb each week so far this year. Didn’t connect against UNC and had the awful drop last week. There’s reason to believe he could get one next weekend against Clemson as well. But one play/score is not a good enough reason not to punish him in some capacity. If Dino found an adequate way to punish him that doesn’t involve a play time reduction I would be surprised, but it is possible it exists. But to me it seems that Harris cares more about himself right now while the team isn’t winning. When you are winning it is really easy to be positive and “all about the team” but when you are losing the “me-first” guys pop out of the woodwork and show their true colors. Harris May or may not be one of those guys, but his actions sure seem selfish and as if he is.

what’s that old line from one of the former NBA guys? “I don’t care what my numbers are if we are winning. But if we bad? You better believe I wanna score 25 a night. Least that way I can get mine and get paid” or something to that affect. Maybe Barkley? I’m not really sure

The deciding factor for me is this worse than staying out too late at the Casino?

Maybe I am making too much of it... but that doesn't scream "weird bird" to me.. That screams "some type of personality issue/mental health" issue. Think about whats going on in that video... who in there right mind does that then/under those conditions? Its not like he is on the bench or anything... I obviously could be wrong.. although i have taken a few Psych classes.. I don't know but that is our #1 WR right there.. and its not making me feel good about the coaches..that's all i can say

in a vacuum seems pretty funny to me

agreed, I just see a kid being a clown. A kid that grew up on social media and selfies drawing attention to himself. I really could care less. I do agree some of his behavior is not team friendly but whatever. This is type of stuff that losing teams belabor but at least he gives a F. Most times you see kids on the sidelines from Syracuse down 30 they are talking and giggling like school girls.

Suspend him for a game on the flying the bird and move on. He's our best receiver weighs about 160 and probably a 2nd or 3 option on a really good team

You just defended his actions. Something you said you wouldn't do. I think he is a really talented player. The best wide out on our team for sure. But that isn't good enough. You need to act like a good person and a good teammate. He does neither. He shows up our QB's all the time. He isn't that good. And the gesture, well, that can just not be tolerated.
queeley is about to surpass him. yes he is 20y/o and yes most of us at 20 did stupid stuff. babers needs to asses if the apology was sincere. if so move on if not sit for one game. i initially felt one game suspension but a lot of others have very good assesments,

hey what are you talking about?! When I finished a retaining wall this past weekend I stood up and flexed the guns. Err more like pop guns at this point...I'm sure you'll have fun visualizing that...
in the yard taking selfies pulling the shirt up flexing the beer ball

I assumed this was him also playing around a bit with the new video board. At first I was annoyed that he wasn't paying a bit of attention, but then he caught a 79 yard TD pass so all was well. I'm easy. (you all know that).

The problem with him isn't the finger, that's just the icing. He can't show up his QB like he did to Rex when that slant pass was behind him. And he's been doing that for awhile. Then he drops a deep ball, all on him, and throws his helmet in the bleachers.

He's good, he's not THAT good. I think he needs some next man up time to get the message. Lucky for him, it will be against Clemson when he will have trouble getting open anyway and the QB will have 0.3 seconds to throw.

Taj is a good player on a dreadful team but IF he is bigger than the program we are in more dire straits than I thought. He needs to sit.

The perspectives of some insofar as the Harris discipline and how we handle Babers are highly hypocritical.
