Taurean Thompson

I'm not worried about it at all. If he comes here, great. If not, oh well.

It's not a huge deal, but it would provide a little more depth and start building some experience on the roster for 2017-18 when it appears only 3 players will be returning.

Not exactly a recipe for success in JB's probable
last year.

It's not like SU to bring in huge classes. Five would be a big class, which would leave the roster at 8 again that year.

Just due diligence.

All right, so if we close on Thompson, that at least gets us to 10 scholarship players, if Malachi is back, and you can have quality scrimmages:

Team 1: V Team 2:
C: Coleman V Chukwu
PF: Roberson V Thompson
SF: Lydon V Moyer
PG: Gillon V Howard
SG: Richardson V Battle

This is what I'm hoping for when it's all over with. I would feel the best I have about an upcoming season in a few years.

Taurean's Mom has got it goin' on.

Wow -- who does JB sit there? He's not a 10 rotation guy -- Moyer and TT? Howard? Robey?

Malachi coming back would or could be fantastic for the Orange but I hold little hope for this happening.

My guess would be the newest playfulness he proves to be unbenchable with his play. If the fan base sees this they will demand that he play and winning with lots of seats filled is the whole point.

Plan B has nothing to do with The Gary Shandling Show, pearl. ;)
Coleman can be the "backup 5 but I prefer a player that sticks around for more thane year. Boeheim doesn't have a big man coach and THAT might be the reason he has trouble bringing in new players in the post position.

He has a big man coach. You might not think he is good enough, but he has one. He's had one for his entire tenure as coach.
