Looks decent, probably very good for the MAC conference. Did they not even have an IPF until this?

They have lost 3 in a row and have to beat Akron to get to a bowl game. Looks like the program is losing momentum. Ohio has replaced them as the dominant team in that conference.
Right. I was in their IPF last summer. I thought it was nice. This is just adding a 12,000 foot addition to the front of it so athletes can do their weight training + in the same building that they practice in.They do currently have a fieldhouse that was built in 2019. This is an addition to that.

UB unveils performance center addition to fieldhouse
BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — University at Buffalo plans to break ground in the spring on a new sports performance center attached to its indoor fieldhouse, vice president and director of athletics…www.wivb.com
Obviously they’re angling to get in the game and beat UMass to the punch in getting a major conference invite.Good for UBUFF.
Big12 could add UBuff, UMass, UConn and Temple if they don't get the 4 corners Teams.Obviously they’re angling to get in the game and beat UMass to the punch in getting a major conference invite.

Bad for Umass? <asking for a friend>Good for UBUFF.
Eh in the fairy world where a big conference acquisition of UB happens, a new stadium near south campus and attendance would be non-issues.Perfect. The average attendance of those 4 schools combined could make up for about 40% of the average attendance of Texas and Oklahoma.

Its a sports town. If it had a serious product to root for, it would. UB’s never made a serious commitment. The stadium located in Amherst is proof of that.I’d like to agree with that, but Buffalo is just not a college sports town.
The only way UB gets to a power conference is if the Bills move away.Eh in the fairy world where a big conference acquisition of UB happens, a new stadium near south campus and attendance would be non-issues.

Do I believe a really, meaningful commitment would ever be made? Probably not.
The stadium on North Campus is awful. No college feel to it at all. Like a highschool monstrosity. Its the main campus sure, but the least attractive from a community engagement standpoint. The closest to a college town environment UB has is on South Campus.I'm an ignorant out of stater. Isn't the stadium on the main campus? I know it's a ways away of like downtown Buffalo. Where's the best spot? Bills?
What are the thoughts on the Bulls and Bills sharing a stadium?

North Campus is removed by about a 15-20 min drive from downtown, off in the suburbs.
South Campus has several thousand students, and most of the greek life presence. It has a metro line hub right on campus. A stadium here would provide easy transportation to and from downtown, and there are already active bus routes for students to and from north campus.
I think UB, in a more meaningful conference like the AAC, could support a new stadium for 25-32,000 on south campus. Something like what Montana and Uconn have.
If the Bulls played way out in OP at the Bills stadium, attendance would be in the triple digits.I'm an ignorant out of stater. Isn't the stadium on the main campus? I know it's a ways away of like downtown Buffalo. Where's the best spot? Bills?

Yeah would have to be nearer downtown, off the metro. Thats where they’d sustain a fanbase. If the Bulls played way out in OP at the Bills stadium, attendance would be in the triple digits.

Entirely understandable/predictable the moment you set foot into one of their venues.Yeah, it's all Bills/Sabres unless UB is having a good season like when Oats and co. came to the Dome, then the fans jump on the bandwagon.
