Exactly. Nova and UNC gets guys to return on the regular. The minute one of ours has a decent tournament or season run, they’re OUT! Sucks.

Do we think any of that has to do with the culture, the coaches, etc? If a kid loves college and is a fringe NBA pick (or potentially going to go undrafted), why not return to a place where you're having fun and loving life? I have absolutely no connection or inside info, but maybe some (a lot?) of our guys get here and then things aren't what they thought they'd be.

Hughes stayed in college for 4 years. Swider stayed in college for 4 years.

Possibly. Could be a combo of a few things. The run at a chip like you mention. He likes the college experience. He’s projected as only a 2nd round pick. And he’s got some NIL opps. One reason it’s not is that he’s being paid by UNC to stay.
