It was 2010 or 2011 and we also finished the year with about thirty players not injured
Fell apart due to lack of depth
His age? He's 62. That's pretty "up" to me. I don't know why we would want to bring in a new coach who will be 63 when he gets hired. He grinded out some 6 and 7 win seasons and is sitting at 3-6 at Colorado State now. Where's the upside in something like that?
Won two of three and took Iowa to the brink

I know you don't. I'm with you. I was questioning all of those who do. It just happened to be your post that I responded to.I don't. (He won't be).

It was poor talent situation at CSU. Full rebuild. This was a complete rebuild so the W/L at this stage is unfair. I think he is doing fine. Addazio is a better coach than Dino. The one concession I would drmand is he hire a solid passing game coordinator. His running game would be very good...but you got to throw some. A passing game is not just dump offs to TE.
Well, I mean, Dino is a bad game manager.Yeah, the “we want a guy who can run the football” is looking like a dumb take this year, should go back to the “we were supposed to play fast” takes
My honest opinion is that some people wanted to fire Dino no matter what and now that the team looks good but are losing by 3 to peer teams they are trying to throw stuff at the wall to build a new narrative “he’s a bad game manager” (because “winning with other people’s talent took a hit”)
Yeah, if he solves all the other complaints, it does leave the thing that needs work. But in my world addressing the other things and closing the gap with peer teams means he’s better not worse.Well, I mean, Dino is a bad game manager.

The reason for firing him keeps changing - which means it’s prob more than a little disingenuous
That’s where I am too. I feel like we have taken our best shot this year and with our annual injury purge coming and we still are losing these games.I want dino to be successful, I’m sick of starting over. Theres seems to be some light at the end of the tunnel and I think he’s learning from his mistakes. If he was more stubborn I’d take this thread more seriously but we should all be pulling for dino to put it together. But obv if it craters then it may be obvious we need more of a veteran guy to take the reins. We are right there knocking on the door, I fear injuries may tank us again tho.

I don't think we should fire him at this point, but the reason given for firing him has never changed-Losing too many games. Everything else is commentary. The reason for firing him keeps changing - which means it’s prob more than a little disingenuous
How old is Dino? About same age? So what's the difference. Saban is 69...who cares? Irrelevant. His age? He's 62. That's pretty "up" to me. I don't know why we would want to bring in a new coach who will be 63 when he gets hired.
No, this is wrong. The record is 3-3. Woulda.. shoulda..coulda...losers lament. 6-0? Does not mean a thing. You are what your record says you are.Or because he has so many reasons to be fired.
The game management is a HUGE issue. There’s no way you can look past that….
Dino lost his leash the last two seasons by not only losing but getting blown out in more than a few games.
If we were losing games that were close like this the last two years his leash is bigger. But now he has no leash so every little mistake he makes is going to be viewed far worse.
He is costing us games this year. The players are playing out of their minds and the bad coaching decisions are sinking us.
We could and should probably be 6-0 currently…instead we are 3-3 and if we get two more wins the rest of the way I would be pleasantly surprised.
The reason for firing is same everywhere in college FB...losing!! Assuming Clemson wins...17 point favorite... that leaves Dino 1-12 in his last 13 ACC games. Over past 3 years in ACC it would be combined ACC record of 3-18...winning percentage of about 17%.Yeah, if he solves all the other complaints, it does leave the thing that needs work. What other ACC or P5 coach survives that record? The list is short.

One is being talked about to come in and do a rebuild. Do you want a 63 year old running a rebuild. How old is Dino? About same age? So what's the difference. Saban is 69...who cares? Irrelevant.
