Had a solid game tonight.

The Texas defense looked much improved.

How about K State's O sucks? They got that rotating QB thing going on.

K-State had 400 yards and completed 56% of their 3rd downs. It wasn't like their offense was bad last night. Tough to give Texas credit when giving up those kind of stats

I'm not knocking Robinson for the performance last night, but I am just gonna praise him for it either. I think its silly honestly to heap praise on him for last nights game

his biggest contribution was getting the kids to focus

Which was a huge improvement over the 99 plays and 700 yards given up 2 weeks prior vs BYU. Texas doesn't have a good defense, but 700 yards is crazy.

I'm sure I speak for many when I ask "Who gives a flying @%$?" Seriously, I get the interest in P. He was here a long time, was successful and a nice guy. I've forgotten his replacement and have less then zero interest in how whatever team he is working for is doing. To be completely honest, when people mention his name I think, "wasn't he the guy that used to be the Broncos d-coordinator?" His connection to SU isn't even a memory.

regression to the mean. very predictable. 4-5 star kids don't have games like the one against byu every week. they will settle into the same old "decent but way underachieving" defense they usually have.

Kansas State also lost to an FCS this year, so I'm not ready to call this a "huge win".

I think for Texas, part of the bigger deal was that they hadn't beaten K State since 2003. Amazingly enough. They didn't play every year in the 2 division Big 12. K State won in 2010, 2011, 2012. As we know, some of those purple people can get quite annoying.
