How about classic SU games watching during

Another good one:
Watching this game again the effort Craig Forth put into boxing out on defense and rebounding is totally missed in this program today.
Forth took a lot of chit from this fanbase but he was a perfect role player.

Our bigs today don’t box out like Forth did.

Beating the Huskies is always fun at MSG:

This was a huge game, a "hey, this underachieving team is actually getting better and improving its weaknesses down the stretch" kind of win. Roberts and Watkins played so well.

@ Gampel in 2012 for College GameDay

Good god was that team loaded. MCW, Dion, Southerland and Fair all on the bench. Scary depth and a team that should have went to the final 4

The only downside to watching these games is being reminded of how slow and unathletic our current guards are.

This. Athletes all over
Love this game - starting front court: Coleman, Rak and CJF. Starting backcourt: Triche and MCW. Grant and Keita off the bench. Those were the days.

One of the most infamous ugliest games of all time, but a win is a win especially when it was Pitt’s first ever loss at the Pete:

Ugh why did I watch this again. I hate Pitt. This game epitomized the foul on every possession strategy that Pitt always had under Howland/Dixon and then we got called for garbage touch fouls on the other end.

Also Billy Packer complaining that we got Albany over Pitt in 2003. Give me a break.

Haha Packer was the WORST.

3 McDonald’s All Americans and 2 four year program guys who got consistently better (and ended up being stars). That’s the ideal way to build a team. Hell, give me one McDonald’s All American surrounded by program guys.

Looking back on my post, the one McDonald’s All American surrounded by program guys worked out even better for us in 03 ha.

The world was robbed of the UK vs SU final it deserved. What a team we had.

Yup. Clearly the two best teams all season.

The fix was in against OSU - the TV presentation of the game made it 100% clear who was winning, no matter what.
