This is how you do it, right?

Hey admins--why was that anti-uconn thread last night deleted, while these two dullards from the boneyard are allowed to indiscriminately post trash talk... on our board?

Anyone else confused by this double standard?

Great great question!

Now don't get out the rope and look for a tree for me before you hear me out. Let's play a 4 game series in D.C.. Split the tickets. Sell the place out. think of how insulting that is to G-town, the cowards that won't play us. Let's face it, the two fan bases hate each other. What better way to get at that hate? I know a lot of people want them to die on the vine in that joke of a league they are in. Fine. But this plan also sticks it to G-town.

God dammit Dasher!!! Look what you did here!!! lol

Hey, have you noticed that we routed your Indiana win (2 pts?) and tonight Ohio st is routing your Maryland win (2 pts?). And everyone routs B.C. (your 2 pt win?). Solid.

But kevin ollie is the greatest coach on the planet so it really doesnt matter

If it weren't for Syracuse and the rest of the original BE, UConn would be in the NEC.

And if it weren't for UCONN, Duke would have two more National Championships... and maybe SU would have more than one???

Ok... setting aside all bias. Obviously we're going to see through orange colored glasses and you'll see through blue. So letting unbiased outsiders compare schools and programs... which they have done... why was Syracuse considered more desirable than UConn? For that matter... why has UConn not been wanted ahead of Syracuse, Pitt, WVU, TCU, Maryland, LVille, or Rutgers even? Because as great as you think you are, the people putting their money and athletic departments on the line haven't wanted you. Why?

Thanks for pointing out our original mistake. Don't think we don't regret that every day of our lives. Thank God we are done program-building. By the way, you're welcome for our heavy lifting. Have fun trying to get SMU to care about basketball.

Here's the truth. UCONN became successful the day it hired Jim Calhoun, not the day it started playing Syracuse.

We hire Calhoun and keep him for 25 years and we would have had fantastic success. We get in the BE and don't get Calhoun? See Seton Hall or BCU.

I don't wander over here much until after football season is over but I saw this thread. So UConn is the football's Rutgers? All I will say is Syracuse has moved on. If they want to play us, schedule one game in the Dome and the Dome only. Jeezem' Crow. ;) (And OK, I am sure in March the wonderful NCAA committee will some how put UConn in our regional so...there is your one game.)

I stand by my original statement.

I stand by my original statement.

So, the reason UCONN, during the BE era, has as many FF, more NC's and more Elite 8, more conference championships and more BE championships than SU is because we play SU and NOT because of Calhoun?

I would suggest it's only because of Calhoun.

So essentially if UConn was a NEC team when he was hired there would be zero difference between the trajectory and success of the program?
