What a whiner Lebron is

You truly do not get it man. It's epic.
I can't believe I'm wasting whatever time I have left on earth trying to intelligently discuss something with someone whose mantra is "you truly don't get it man." Enlighten me, oh wise one.

LOL. Did you major in Arrogance? Summa Cum laude I assume. :D

Nope. If you think, which I can only assume you do because you wrote it, that deducing value on one game is reasonable then I'm not sure what to tell you.

You've got the man as an avatar. There's literally nothing I can say to you that you won't turn into something that isn't what I was referring to.
The avatar? You don't get it. Riddle me that.

Kevin Ware was less dramatic leaving the floor with a broken leg than Lebron just was with some minor injuries that, btw, Carroll and Millsap are both also playing with.
John . Kennedy was less dramatic getting out of the convertible in Dallas. My gawd, LeBron, what a wuss.

Lebron James gets by many people because he is considered a Complainer. Lebron James sat on the ground while his teammates played 5 on 4 because he was pouting about a no call. That play is directly related to why people have strong feelings about him. They choose to look past a lot of the actual numbers (not me, them).

I used that play as an example of why this entire thread-look at the title- was started in the first place

Yes, I get it. I said up above that he p*ssed me off doing that. It's messed up. I was reacting to your compatriot from LI trashing LeBron for going down in a heap of exhaustion after the game. My point was, after LeBron started out like crap, he put up the highest triple-double in playoff history and LI's takeaway was that LBJ's an a-hole for falling to his knees after a tough, physical game, his cramps and nagging injuries aside.

LeBron pouting on floor, bad, LeBron collapsing in exhaustion after double OT game, what's the big deal. That was my point.

Actually...both are ridiculous. His play tonight was incredible and he flat out dominated at times. But as good as that was, he freaking laid there on the floor, while the camera followed the play to the other end of the court, while everyone was waiting for him to re-enter the screen and he... Awkwardly...never did. And what's worse is that the expectation was that he would come sprinting back into the frame and make some kind of insane block like he used to 2 years ago.

Whether he got fouled or not, sure looked like he did, he wasn't undercut going to the hoop and landed on his back. He got tripped up at mid court and should have been back in the play. No excuse for that.

Been drinking for the last few days, but Lebron staying down on that end of the floor like he did was shockingly bad.

Utah is super easy to root for. Really well run organization with smart people and a roster with a ton of upside.
and a lot of really good young talent right now . . . too bad it is so hard to break through in the West

Dare I say Utah and Minnesota as the sleeper teams in each conference? Likely not next year, but both have the young pieces.

Their defensive identity could carry them though. Get Alec Burks back, have Exum improve, the other guys get a little better, spend some money on B and C tier free agents to shore up the bench, make good use of their late lotto pick... I think they can break through.

Minnesota's got interesting players, but they just feel so far away. They do have a potential superstar in Wiggins, and will have the chance to draft another good one potentially, but they're probably at least another couple of seasons away.

Minneota has some nice pieces of the puzzle, but they're a ways away. Rubio does some good things. Great passer, but he is lousy offensively [in terms of both scoring / shooting], and hasn't substantively improved in those areas to date. He's regarded as a defensive liability, as well. The backcourt is weak [Zach Lowe has a lot of hope pinned upon him].

However, they do have Wiggins and whoever they take #1 to build around. Pekovic is a fantastic center [he was hurt a lot this past year], and I imagine they'll look to move him for assets this offseason. So they have some good foundational pieces of the puzzle, but also some gaps.

but someone has to fall; it's a zero sum game . . . if you assume OKC gets & stays healthy, then there are essentially 9 playoff teams already ahead of them. As noted, Minny has a solid young core, too. The Lakers have the ability to rebuild quickly if they make the right pick & get one of their primary FA targets. With Utah, that's perhaps 12 playoff caliber teams for 8 slots.

There is going to be at least one team in the west with a roster capable of competing for the 4 seed in the East, but instead are going to end up in the lottery.

I think Dallas, Portland, and New Orleans are all vulnerable. Not sure what the Suns are doing. I just don't see the Lakers and Minnesota as being anywhere close.

Dallas I can definitely see; they have a great coach and they always seem to be able to re-work things, but Dirk is getting old. If Portland loses LMA they could definitely be in trouble.

If Okafor/Towns turn into Anthony Davis or Dwight, then Minny will be just fine in 2-3 years, as Wiggins could be a superstar. If they turn into Anthony Bennett, Oden, or Bargnani, they are doomed.

What happened to Atlanta's shooting!? They're making Cuse look like sharpshooters in this series.
