Will JB's Thursday press conference be broadcast live anywhere?

Boeheim: " I believe in the NCAA's head coach responsibility bylaw and what it stands for."

Boeheim said he voted for the implementation of this bylaw in 2005, but he also believes that a head coach should have opportunity to rebut.

Boeheim says NCAA's actions were "contrary to NCAA bylaw" of head coach responsibility rule. His "non-involvement" the key there, he says.

Boeheim said he offered to make himself available to NCAA enforcement staff for an additional interview after his initial one.

Boeheim said the enforcement staff declined to listen to his additional information.

Boeheim believes his side of things were "disregarded by enforcement staff" and that resulted in his nine-game ACC suspension.

Boeheim, while defending his actions, said he meets with staff "on an almost daily basis" to discuss compliance matters.

Boeheim said he is most disappointed with academic fraud issues making it seem like his staff intends to run a program that way.

Boeheim: I have long been a proponent of the APR... With exception on 2008-2009, we have had an APR well above NCAA minimum to compete

Boeheim said he meets daily with academic coordinator. Between 2008-14, 11 of 13 seniors graduated, Boeheim said.

He is one tick away from completely blowing up. Compelling and nerve-wracking to watch.
Yep. He started out level...and then as he's kept reading, you can tell he's getting worked up as he reads through all of the charges and his counterpoints.

Boeheim says Stan Kissel "took it upon himself to provide impermissible" to engage in academic fraud. Boeheim said he met with Kissel daily.

Boeheim talking about Fab Melo situation now, says every student is allowed to seek a grade change.

Boeheim on Fab Melo: "I was concerned with the welfare of this student athlete... I certainly never encouraged these individuals to cheat."

Boeheim says that he cared for welfare of Melo, but did not suggest or know of academic fraud with his paper edits. "This was not my way."

It sounds like he plans on filing a lawsuit against the NCAA for slander. He is setting it up perfectly. Attack on his character without justification.

Boeheim says that after 10-year investigation, only one instance of academic fraud was found. Again cites Kissel for adding citations.

Boeheim: "This is far from a program where student-athletes freely committed academic fraud."

Man, when he said, "In fact..." I thought he was about to blow up.

He's teetering on the edge. I would hate to be the first person to ask a question.

Has Kissel ever said a word about this? Is anybody going to get his side of things?

Man, when he said, "In fact..." I thought he was about to blow up.

He's teetering on the edge. I would hate to be the first person to ask a question.

Bet no questions. Just statement.

Boeheim: "The penalties on the football program were far less on what were imposed on the basketball program."

Boeheim then asks if head coach responsibility only applies to the basketball program.

Boeheim on Cornish: "There was no reason to believe that this man would provide impermissible benefits to student-athletes."

Boeheim reiterates that Cornish was vetted pre-hire. Boeheim learned of Cornish's actions after the NCAA investigation began, he said.

Boeheim: I did not know about any violations at the Oneida YMCA. Had I know, I would have taken action.

Boeheim said he supports SU's drug policy, but didn't play into its creation or administration.

Boeheim: University implemented drug policy for benefit of student-athletes despite not being required by NCAA, one of a handful of schools.
