Wow Cali I suggest you look up this guy named Alec Lemon he has really good hands too. You know I think he might have caught a couple of touchdown passes to win games this year, but I'm not quite sure. The name Van Chew should never ever be uttered in the same breath as Alec unless you are properly using it as a curse word.

Yeah, Alec Lemon didn't have "great hands"...

Alec Lemon is athe best we have and makes good catches but I wouldn't put him in the great category regarding that particular aspect.Yes he is better than average and certainly not a Tim Lane kind of guy. Tim Lane was the worse ever to be classified as a WR. Right now with one arm I can catch a ball better than he could. Of course my face and nose might get a little bloody but thats thsacrifice yo make to help the team.:bat:

Haha. I remember watching that movie on HBO in college. My housemates (mostly women) were horrified because I burst out laughing when he got absolutely leveled in the football game. Does it make me a bad person that I found that really funny?

Not at all, largely because Lucas was really kind of a dick and deserved the crap that the bullies gave him.

I think everyone was, especially after Goonies. I remember they did a Goonies reunion when Lord of the Rings was just coming out (on the DVD commentary special with the cast reunited, Feldman kept making snarky remarks about LOTR to Sean Astin...he was clearly in no way, shape, or form bitter about the fact that Mikey was currently starring in one of the most epic franchises in movie history...ahem), and she looked just as hot as ever. She aged extremely gracefully:

"Zach Allen doesn’t anticipate that Feb. 6 will be an extraordinary day. It’s national signing day, but Temple’s standout senior quarterback anticipates quietly signing his letter of intent in a coach’s office in upstate New York, if he does it at all.

With that in mind, the celebration of Allen’s future college career at Syracuse was held Wednesday afternoon in the Wildcat Gym foyer. Around 200 well wishers congratulated Allen, who verbally committed to the Orange on May 30.

After thanking family and friends, in front of his blue Temple jersey and a flag with Otto the Orange, Syracuse’s mascot, hanging in the background, Allen had a pseudo signing. He put his signature on a letter he received from Syracuse coach Doug Marrone in November welcoming him for a campus visit he eventually made Dec. 7-9."

He is committed the moment he either enrolls or signs an LOI ... the fact that he is enrolling at SU early makes him committed ... he doesn't need all the hoopla in February because he will be on campus and can just sign anything else necessary in the coaches office away from home. That is why he had the pseudo signing now so he could do it at home near his friends.
