I asked one of the reporters, who covered sports and is no longer with the .com, why they didn't cover recruiting for the football team. His answer was he approached the .com about doing that and there was no interest.

I'm fascinated about the state fair excitement. I understand a lot of it comes from being in Syracuse. But I couldn't even tell you where the Kansas State Fair is and I never knew about the Georgia one when I lived there. I must have missed out.

I agree that she isn't the best, but to be fair to her this is pretty normal. Almost every reporter I follow on Twitter for other sports (Bills, Sabres) tweets about more than just the team. Almost noone just sticks to sports, unless its one of the big national reporters. Bailey was more of the exception, because well I'm not sure he did too much outside of sports to be honest, lol.
