It's crazy that freshmen are headed to the portal. Because of the pandemic, no frosh has any notion of college life at their current address. Everybody has had a miserable year, college athletes probably worse than most.

I don't have any recent statistics but at one time the % of athletes staying 4 years exceeded the % of the general student population at the MAC school I went to. It's not the kids fault. They're just using the rules to their advantage. Let's face it, the rules are rarely in their favor.
