I am not knocking our current guys, but we always seem to make bonehead mistakes late. Collins never seems to make a mistake, and always makes the right decision. The team is clearly so much better with him than without him. Their early losses were all without him. USF as a team is much better when he is playing.
I didn't see the first 10 minutes of the game against Temple when his team was terrible. However, in addition to our game, I watched USF smoke Cal and the last 30 of the Temple game, and he is really good. Decision making is a talent that is hard to quantify, unlike height weight and SPARQ rating.
The kid is only a freshman and I can't remember a mistake he made in the time I watched him play... Amazing.
