The Official Last Game of the Season thread

Entire front court is 11 for 36. Credit to their big men contesting shots inside and that we are not converting points in the low post. Tough one to swallow today. Still not giving up on these guys.

Has anyone else lost the feed from CBS? It's not my DirecTV in general, I'm getting other channels. Just not CBS. It cut out 2 minutes ago.

If Ron Patterson were a football player, they would say he plays cornerback because he was a wide receiver that couldn't catch

I kind of wish mine went out. This isn't good.

Our team was just hit with some pretty heavy sanctions after one of our worst seasons ever. If you want rainbows and sunshine this is not the place to be.

I still have it on FIOS

I still have it.

Honestly how do you figure?
We lose our interior scoring threat and might return all the kids that just aren't good enough. I hate saying that about any of them, but we all know who they are. I'm not as positive about a G return, and I don't even know if we can still add Bryant. Throw in a couple of knee injuries and bad guard play and it's really hard for me to believe in next year's team. Also, the zone D has been pretty bad for much of this season.

Kaleb had a very rough freshman year, but I do think he will get better.

He has some quickness, decent enough shooting form to suggest he can improve as a shooter, and has shown signs that he could develop a strong midrange game(he should become a strong mid range pullup and floater game).

I don't mean to pile on Patterson, but when I suggested last summer that he doesn't look to be any more talented than Louie McCroskey(a hustler with very limited offensive skills) I was met with STRONG resistance on this board.

Sick of posters overrating our players every year and going nuts when some realism is provided. LOL.

Some players just aren't that good. He tries hard and doesn't seem to be an idiot. So there's that. But he's limited.
Yeah, reality can be tough. Ron seems like a good kid that does play hard, but if you don't have the skills, you don't have the skills.

Christmas averaged 5 points per game until this year. Guys get better.

How do you known Coleman or McCullough don't turn into 18 and 9 type players next year? It's just as likely(actually MUCH more likely in McCullough's case) than it looked like it was for Christmas to develop into that this season.
