DSerek Jeter's last season is going to be tough to bare

Jeter in my mind and many others is the equal or superior to the memory of other Yankee legends. His talent is overshadowed by his personality that is beyond a reason to smile and admire.Even mantle who I grew up with as the Yankee great I had the pleasure to watch and marvel at his ability . I discovered that his personality was hardly that of a good guy who understood his role in the game and as a part of the so-called "American pastime" I heard from too many friends and acquaintances about chance encounters with Mantle that really showed him off poorly . None of those friends or acquaintances are the kind of people that I wouldn't trust or be the cause for reactions that might be far less than PC.
