Lost in the Hayward injury was the fact that Draymond hurt his left knee and is scheduled for an MRI today. Yikes.

Talk is Heyward’s injury prognosis is best case.

Being able to fly last night meant the swelling wasn’t high. Cleveland Cavs doctors should be commended for helping Hayward as much as they did.
Apparently it was Cleveland Chief medical doctor who popped Hayward’s ankle back into place.

I was worried this was career ending when I saw the leg. It looks like honestly looks like a 4-6 month injury.

Yeah broken bones look awful, but are better than tearing ligaments.

Barring an setbacks in rehab I really think Hayward will be back this season.

Starting the season in mid-October means if the Celtics are playing in May he could be back.
That is 7 months.

I don’t think Fultz will be a first team all rookie.

Kuzma, Simmons, Tatum, Ball, Smith Jr. all looked better in summer league and preseason.

Celtics just played a video from Gordon Hayward after the intros.
He looked relieved. I think the visual is going to end up worse than the result.
Obviously it’s a tough injury but not a killer.

Cs weren't winning this year anyway. Good for Hayward (regarding his prognosis). This will also allow Tatum/Brown to get more touches, which I think is a great thing.

They have a really good team. Fun to watch. Get Hayward back. Do the best you can this year. As long as you hold onto Kyrie, you'll be in contention to get to the Finals for the foreseeable future.

Kinda reminds me of the baseball tweets I see about how Bryce Harper is a few months younger than Aaron Judge. It's crazy how young Kyrie is relative to his experience in the league.

I agree on Simmons, I watched a lot of that game, the jumper needs work, but he has some serious skills.

Over the summer I saw someone who was the spitting image of Kevin Durant. So much so that I had to approach him and mention it. He said he gets it all the time and people want photos and autographs. The dude was tall by average standards, maybe 6'2", but was very clearly not Kevin Durant.
