I just don’t get UNLV who Cuse beat @ their barn…
Agree... IT about the conference out there... when SU kicked their arses they were all about we lost our playoff bid... and then another big rivalry did after and ok, it all lost... ironically we are their losses... It like was said... SU Underrated, and pollsters hate us... I'm usually watching the ESPN one and it isn't updated yet and usually is by 11am...

Bama embarrased and still in top 15. Imagine that respect for ANY ACC team? Any of us would be dropped from top 25 all together.
Ironically others we really beat, and even some other ACC's like Louisville are still getting votes... heh so funny. Pretty ridiculous with the polling... normally on a Sunday it all done by noon... Ironic only one poll is posting... and Coaches can't even decide... GT gets a 1 vote? Where did Stanford go... Don't they get more than GT for beating us by a crap ass field goal and crappy ACC refs trying to make the new peeps look awesome?

Memphis...their best win is, wait for it... North texas? One of the only teams on their schedule with a winning record this season. Explain this to me.
It's called media money/// rivalries... ESPN gameday... we won't get one because we don't spend 90% per captia on football for a school.

You could make an argument that 2-9 FSU is the best team they've beaten. Navy is the only opponent they've played that has a pulse, and they dropped 56 on the Tigers. Anyone ranking them isn't even looking at the schedule, let alone watching their games. They needed a 2 minute drill to beat Charlotte for christ's sake.

Thanks for reminding me I need to visit the FSU thread.

Win next weekend and go into the bowl ranked in the top 20. Finishing ranked is more important perception wise.
Maybe. Teams that are ranked during the season get talked about and covered all season long. Top of mind during the season is huge in terms of perception. Year end rankings are great. But we know from experience it doesn’t carry over to the next year.

Pollsters just don't like us.
We don't have style points. All these 1 score victories haven't helped us. We needed some touchdowns or stopping the other team from scoring late at the end of these games. Both Cal and UConn should have been minimum 2 TD wins but we are not good at padding and piling up more points or stopping our opponents from getting a late TD.
