Bryant to Indiana

Well he's got one on the way and probably needs money sooner rather than later. But I agree he should have taken into consideration of the feelings of internet fans

Thats not what I was trying to say. He should have taken into account that there is a chance he might not get drafted this year, and if he comes back and proves hes healthy, could have been a lottery pick.

and the kid?

And what is cmacs family situation?

I have no idea, but I am sure he has family that loves him and would help him out, the same with his gf. I am not saying it's an ideal situation, but there are plenty of student athletes who have kids and make it work.

Man, didn't think the Syracuse basketball program would come crashing down like this, with missing out on one recruit the year we have a top five class in the country and four starters returning. It's been a good run, everyone, nice knowing you all.

At least you still have the football team.

If what is said here is true about his family's socio-economic situation is true (they're poor) you think he should stay, play for free, and be an additional burden (financially of course) on his family.

There are a lot of poor families that have babies in in this country, and make it work. I don't know their economic situation, but I do know this. His stock is never going to be lower than it is now, he has picked the worst possible time to leave school.

They make it work by doing jobs that pay them money.

so because other families can make it work he should stay. Because entertain me dammit.

It has nothing to do with entertaining me, its what is best for his career, and his family long term.

This is why I try not to passjudgement on kids who leave early. I don't know them, they come from backgrounds I can't begin to comprehend, and I don't want to sound like this.

And if course, you know what's best. Better find him quick. There's still time to change his mind.

You dont think Jb said the same thing to him

All this talk about Bryant wanting to be far from home. The part that I do not understand is that supposedly he hasn't heard from the staff in months. What gives with that ? Why would he possibly want to go where he wasn't wanted ? Why wouldn't the staff not want him ?

I am looking for some answers here......

Because they wanted to get to 10. Take the hit this year and next and see if they could get the last 2 years removed on appeal.

Although I wish Thomas the best, I hope we draw Indiana and pound them in the ACC-B1G challenge and Coleman schools TB.

Bryant wasn't the type of player that would have made next year's team significantly better. Don't get me wrong, he would have added value, but he's not the difference maker from us making the Final Four vs us barely making the NCAA's.

Uh, most of this couldn't be more wrong. Bryant is a credible post scorer, shot blocker, and inside presence. He also would've brought energy, toughness and an intimidating aura. This is a huge loss and Bryant would've been a gigantic get.

I want to add that a big beneficiary of the C-Mac and TB news could be Lydon. Obviously , now Diagne is a big component but Lydon needs to hit the weight room and help us as soon as possible. He is a very good rebounder but he has a Gandhi physique (I think I just channeled Cali .) I wasn't anticipating that a couple weeks ago.
