It seems, that around the time he decided to leave Nebraska, his decision was leaked before he could notify all of his teammates and he got some bad press off of that. Guess he decided to cool it on social media to avoid more backlash.:noidea:

Well if there is no official meeting then I would certainly not recommended someone camp out at Skytop to see if he is moving in today. Certainly not!

We just need a time frame for the meeting tomorrow, a window of time where someone can hangout at the Melo Center and wait for the players to arrive. Which one of our insiders can help us out with this?

Or is this a hint that we shouldn't expect an official announcement?

As much as I love seeing pages of comments when I open this thread, it's disappointing when most of them are about other former players or roster debates. I really don't want this thread shut down again. Please, with a cherry on top?:)

Summer session 2 at SU ends this Friday. After that the basketball players will head home until Fall semester starts on the 29th. What motivating factor does AW3 have to commit very soon?

My "expert" prediction. He officially commits to SU on Friday the 12th at 3:30 pm. That way he has a full week plus to get to Syracuse and start practicing with teammates before Boeheim is back the week of August 22nd.

Certainly, having all this info makes for a much more pleasant time than the constant hand wringing of the TT recruitment but I will not lose my agita until an official announcement or we have pics of him on campus again. Much thanks again to all the inside info!

I just listened to the Mike Mcalister AW3 section of today's podcast. I found it interesting that they are in semi regular contact with him, as recently as Wednesday night. Of course AW3 said he hadn't made his decision yet.

Feels so quiet in here today. No insiders. Only 4 pages of comments. I just saw a tumbleweed blow through here.

So it seems the latest news I can gather from this thread is that AW3 is waiting the appropriate amount of time to "respect" Michigan State before committing to the Orange. Whether that is tomorrow or Friday or next week is not really known.
